Christine Shipman has played the violin for thirteen years. She has played with various orchestras and quartets in different parts of the country, and in Tucson, she is part of the Tucson Chamber Orchestra.

She studied with John Wilcox, a former member of the National Symphony, and Paul Vanderwerf, a Chicago-area violinist.
